Archaea Tree Ensemble
Through their unique instrumentation, the Archaea Tree Ensemble is dedicated to crossing genres by inviting audiences to explore music through cross-disciplinary performances and interactive events. The ensemble, consisting of harp, flute, and percussion, strives to explore a diverse range of classical, contemporary, and folk music while generating new works through collaborations with living composers, artists, and dancers. The ensemble has performed at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Indiana University, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, the Carl Woese Symposium, Constellation (Chicago), the Champaign Public Library and hosted Troublesome Gap, an artist retreat for emerging composers in Hot Springs, North Carolina.
